Frontend Developer (ReactJS & JavaScript)

About the Role

Unison Group is looking for a proficient Frontend Developer skilled in ReactJS and JavaScript to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable and high-performance web applications that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, improve, and sustain responsive web applications using React.js and Node.js technologies.
• Develop reusable UI components and implement features leveraging React.js, Redux, and contemporary UI frameworks.
• Work with PostgreSQL and Oracle databases to assist with schema design, efficient querying, and data integrity assurance.
• Conduct unit and integration testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain application reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams like UI/UX designers, product managers, backend developers, and DevOps professionals.
• Implement coding, security, and performance best practices for front-end and back-end development.
• Utilize version control (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline releases and deployments.
• Monitor software performance, diagnose issues, fix bugs, and provide necessary technical assistance.
• Interpret pricing Excel formulas and business logic accurately, converting these into maintainable JavaScript code.

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong expertise in React.js, Redux, Hooks, and Node.js for front-end development.
• Deep understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Capability to read MS Excel pricing formulas and translate calculation logic into correct and maintainable JavaScript implementations.
• Knowledge of Docker, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS cloud platforms is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Experience with Java and Spring framework is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Proficient with Git, JIRA, and other project management tools.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills suitable for effective teamwork.
