About the Role

Maple Leaf Foods Inc is seeking candidates to fill full-time general labour positions based in Mississauga, Ontario. This position involves engaging in various fundamental tasks within a fast-paced food processing environment, emphasizing safety, quality, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating across multiple stations within the department according to assignment
• Supporting and performing all tasks related to production line activities
• Strictly adhering to Food Safety and Quality Assurance protocols
• Complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), Health & Safety standards, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
• Handling physically demanding tasks, including lifting loads between 10 to 25 kilograms
• Performing repetitive duties efficiently in a fast-moving environment
• Undertaking additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors

Shift and Candidate Requirements

• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Physical capability to meet the demands of the role
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal oversight within a team setting
• Willingness and flexibility to work scheduled shifts
• Completion of minimum Grade 10 education is preferred
