About Emerald Airlines
Emerald Airlines is Ireland's newest airline, offering an exciting opportunity to become part of a team committed to integrity, openness, and collaboration. Based in Dublin Airport, we operate one of the most environmentally friendly commercial turbo-prop aircraft, the ATR 72-600.
Job Overview
This role reports directly to the Crew Chief and requires a 42.5-hour workweek following a typical roster of two early shifts, two late shifts, and two days off. Flexibility to cover various operational waves and disruptions is essential.
Role Description and Responsibilities
- Prepare aircraft service areas ensuring readiness for operations.
- Handle and transport baggage with multitasking essential for daily activities.
- Apply aircraft chocks and cones to secure planes appropriately.
- Manage GPU input/output procedures efficiently.
- Direct passenger marshalling to and from aircraft safely.
- Load and unload aircraft within expected timeframes.
- Use headset communications during pushback and refueling safely.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and departure timelines.
- Drive vehicles within airport premises, including crew transport as necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Team Leaders and Flight Crews by following instructions accurately.
- Coordinate effectively with multiple departments such as OCC, Flight Operations, Inflight, Engineering, Catering, and Fuelling.
- Strive to deliver on-time performance (OTP), reduce delays, and recover disrupted schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all Airline, Airport, ATC, and Authority safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee maintenance procedures and assignments for Ground Services Equipment.
- Interpret aircraft-related documentation such as weight and balance loads, hazardous material labels, and flight manifests.
- Perform any other duties assigned by Team Leader or Apron Supervisor.

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid and clean Irish driving license.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Willingness and ability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Capable of passing Garda vetting and a full background check.
- Medically fit to undertake the responsibilities.
