Role Overview
We seek a meticulous and analytical HR Coordinator to assist with key people processes supporting site operations. This role involves collaborating closely with HR and business teams to manage workforce planning, oversee recruitment coordination, generate reporting, and handle various employee lifecycle activities within a dynamic manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to facilitate workforce planning and achieve monthly staffing targets
- Coordinate job requisitions and recruitment efforts, partnering with onsite recruitment teams to manage union and non-union hiring
- Prepare and disseminate weekly and ad hoc workforce reports, including headcount, retirement, lead hand, and workforce validation for multiple sites
- Support manpower governance by compiling and presenting accurate workforce data and insights to site leadership
- Execute HR transactions using SuccessFactors Employee Central, ensuring data integrity across HR systems
- Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors, including documentation, training coordination, badge renewals, and terminations
- Assist with audits, documentation collection, employee surveys, and routine HR inquiries, while ensuring compliance with company policies and site requirements
- Support recurring HR cycles such as engagement surveys, reporting, merit reviews, and scheduled people initiatives
- Identify and recommend improvements in reporting accuracy, data quality, and administrative processes to boost efficiency and decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline
- 2 to 4 years of progressive HR experience or equivalent education and experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and Copilot
- Strong verbal and written communication with the ability to build effective cross-level relationships
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the aptitude to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive problem-solving capabilities with an analytical mindset and the ability to work independently
- Confidence in presenting information to site leadership
- CHRP designation or progress towards certification is an asset
- Experience with SuccessFactors or similar HRIS platforms is preferred
- Background in workforce analytics, reporting, or process improvement initiatives is advantageous
Compensation
The expected base salary ranges from 56,500 to 88,800 CAD annually, subject to factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications. Actual salary may vary within or outside this range at the company’s discretion.
