Information Technology Administrator

Position Overview

Spinneys, a foremost premium food retailer in the UAE, is looking to hire an innovative and meticulous IT Administrator. This role is critical in overseeing and safeguarding the company's cloud environments, collaborative platforms, and network infrastructure, ensuring dependable and regulated IT operations organization-wide. The position requires close cooperation with a supportive and team-driven IT department.

Primary Duties

• Oversee cloud platform environments by managing user accounts, roles, and permissions.
• Implement and monitor best practices related to access control and user authentication.
• Manage identity security and ensure access governance is maintained.
• Track system alerts and assist with incident handling.
• Administer main productivity and collaboration platforms.
• Manage email systems focusing on hygiene, spam and phishing prevention, and data protection.
• Ensure IT policy enforcement and adherence to compliance standards.
• Support user onboarding, license management, and access provisioning.
• Supervise and observe network infrastructure across multiple locations.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and network segmentation strategies.
• Monitor network activity and logs, facilitating troubleshooting when necessary.
• Work alongside IT colleagues and external vendors to resolve network and system issues.
• Assist with vulnerability scans and coordinate remediation efforts.
• Support audit processes, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance enforcement.
• Maintain thorough documentation, standard operating procedures, and conduct regular access reviews.
• Communicate with internal teams and third-party vendors regarding operational activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Possess between 3 to 5 years of experience in IT, cloud, or network administration roles.
• Have practical understanding of enterprise network management and security principles.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving capabilities and a detail-focused, cooperative approach.
• Preferred candidates will have direct experience managing enterprise cloud and collaboration platforms.
• Professional certifications relevant to the industry are advantageous.
