Inspector - Parking Control

Job Overview

This role involves supervising and executing parking inspections across public and private areas to ensure compliance with established regulations. The position requires working in dynamic outdoor environments and collaborating closely with law enforcement and field teams to maintain effective parking control operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support inspection operation planning by delivering field observations that reveal trends and areas for improvement to leadership.
• Carry out daily inspections in designated parking locations, issue violation notices, and oversee asset usage adherence.
• Manage customer complaints regarding non-fee and private parking; document and address reports to maintain satisfaction.
• Review appeals against parking violations, collect relevant evidence, forward cases to appropriate committees, and enact committee decisions.
• Ensure that all inspectors maintain the required uniform and identification standards for professional presence.
• Identify and report any unusual or suspicious vehicle activities, cooperating with Dubai Police to enable prompt and lawful response.
• Validate the presence of legitimate permits before applying control actions on sites managed by the company.
• Contribute to continual enhancement of inspection methods by recommending practical improvements informed by fieldwork experience.
• Regularly perform outdoor site visits in parking zones and undeveloped areas, including day and night shifts, emergency responses, and accident scene investigations.
• Operate safely in live traffic and unpaved locations using protective gear and following health, safety, and environmental protocols while working alongside field personnel.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Educational background including High School diploma or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience related to the role after high school, or minimum 2 years of experience with a diploma qualification.
• Applicants must be UAE nationals.
• Ability to work full-time in onsite settings.
