Key Responsibilities

• Design and build high-quality iOS apps primarily using Swift, and Objective-C when needed.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver top-notch features.
• Create seamless and secure mobile experiences by integrating APIs and backend services, ensuring strong performance and reliability.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code adhering to best industry practices.
• Engage in code reviews and contribute towards continuous improvement of coding standards and practices.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and issues in production and test environments.
• Ensure mobile app compliance with security, regulatory, and financial standards.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and implement automated testing strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience in iOS development or mobile engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Swift and familiarity with Objective-C.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, SwiftUI, Core Data, and Combine.
• Deep understanding of mobile architectural patterns including MVC, MVVM, and VIPER.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with JSON payloads.
• Awareness of secure coding practices, especially relevant to financial or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, CI/CD tools, and Git version control.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as XCTest.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must hold valid New Zealand work authorization as per security requirements.
