As an IBM Business Partner with over 15 years of experience and more than 100 clients served, Gallea AI delivers enterprise-grade AI solutions accessible to businesses that previously couldn't access them. The core product, Gallea AiOS, is an Intelligent Operating System that conversationally transforms a business's website and internal operations, providing instant, branded information both externally to customers and internally across teams.

Role Summary

The Junior Developer will be an early-career contributor working directly with the founding team as part of a small, hands-on group. This role offers broad exposure across AI product development from initial concept demos to full platform management. It suits someone who thrives on variety and hands-on experience with applied AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enhance product demonstrations that showcase AiOS capabilities to customers and partners.
• Maintain and update the company’s website to support marketing and informational needs.
• Design and develop microsites for campaigns, client projects, and product launches.
• Collaborate with the core development team on building and improving the AiOS platform across the technology stack.
• Gradually assume increased responsibility and eventual management of the AiOS platform.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Approximately 1 to 2 years of professional or internship/co-op experience in software development.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Proficiency with HTML and CSS for web development tasks.
• A demonstrated interest and engagement with artificial intelligence, including following industry developments and experimenting with AI tools or models.
• A flexible and humble approach: willing to work across various tasks from platform development to routine web updates.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

• Involvement in personal projects, hackathons, or open-source initiatives related to AI.
• Experience with JavaScript or modern front-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with APIs for large language models (LLMs) or other AI service integrations.

Additional Details

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Employment: Full-time, onsite

Compensation: Between 70000 and 90000 CAD annually
