Role Overview

As a Junior Digital Project Coordinator, you will collaborate closely with the Marketing, Development, and Social Media teams to initiate, coordinate, and deliver outstanding websites while promoting businesses through online marketing strategies.

Marketing Responsibilities

• Create clear, accurate, and consistent web copy and content for various digital platforms.
• Support the Marketing team with SEO implementation across over 300 client websites monthly, including work on content, backlinks, images, header tags, meta descriptions, and other optimization techniques.
• Manage and coordinate content creation alongside client social media accounts.
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs), produce return on investment (ROI) reports, and analyze important metrics for both the company and clients.
• Engage in daily client communications through email, telephone, and face-to-face meetings.
• Oversee creation and management of paid advertising campaigns and email marketing for clients.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure websites are free of bugs and function correctly.
• Manage advertising campaigns, write blogs, and perform proofreading tasks.

Development Responsibilities

• Learn and apply project management techniques related to website development projects.
• Manage email services, websites, and domain hosting operations.
• Communicate effectively with Project Managers and clients to fully understand project objectives.
• Design and develop websites using popular platforms such as WordPress and WooCommerce.
• Explore and incorporate the latest trends in website design and development to enhance products and services.
• Utilize front-end programming languages like HTML, CSS, and PHP.
• Support and maintain hundreds of existing client websites with updates and troubleshooting.
• Guarantee quality control to avoid bugs and issues affecting website presentation, operation, and security.
• Assist with logo creation, brochure design, hosting transfers, domain purchasing, and setup procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A*–C/9–4 or equivalent, including English Language and Mathematics.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a related industry.

• Strong organizational abilities to develop projects based on handed-over notes and instructions.
• Passion for technology, marketing, and web design/development.
• Ability to manage projects, coordinate tasks, and consistently meet deadlines and milestones.
• Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and client communication both verbally and in writing.
• Technology enthusiast with a clear understanding to keep clients informed and engaged.

Location Requirements

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to or relocate to Rayleigh before starting work as the role is on-site.

Compensation

The pay aligns with the National Minimum Wage, ranging between £10.85 and £12.71 per hour depending on age.
