Job Overview
We are seeking a Junior Power BI / Dashboard Developer to join a dynamic business intelligence team supporting a financial services client. This role is offered as a remote contract position with an initial term of six months and compensation of £250 per day within IR35 guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and sustain interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI tools.
- Compose SQL queries to analyse, validate, and troubleshoot diverse datasets.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to accurately capture and understand reporting demands.
- Improve and maintain the current suite of BI reporting solutions.
- Uphold enterprise standards for reporting processes and documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in BI, reporting, or data-centric roles.
- Proficient in dashboard development specifically using Power BI.
- Strong command of SQL for data querying and analysis.
- Familiarity with enterprise data warehousing concepts, preferably with Snowflake.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business users.
- Previous exposure to the insurance sector is an advantage; however, candidates with experience in other regulated industries are considered.
