Role overview
Transport for NSW is hiring a Learning Program Coordinator to support the planning, coordination and delivery of complex learning programs. This permanent full-time position is based in Petersham, NSW, and offers a salary range of $108,374 to $119,210.
The role is focused on making sure learning activities are well scheduled, properly resourced and smoothly delivered. It suits someone who enjoys working across teams, balancing priorities and improving how learning operations are run.
What you will be doing
You will support learning program planning by maintaining schedules, identifying risks and helping ensure programs are delivered on time and to standard. The role also includes working with the Manager to improve service delivery, resource use, systems and operational processes.
You will partner with the Learning Program Planner and Learning Delivery Managers to keep the master schedule up to date, carry out critical path analysis and suggest practical ways to address scheduling issues or planning risks.
Your work will involve preparing regular and ad hoc reports on schedule progress, completing resource modelling to support stakeholder approval, publishing final schedules and arranging both learning and non-learning resources.
You will also make sure plans are recorded accurately across systems such as SuccessFactors and Time Edit, while handling learner enquiries and resolving complex or escalated matters within agreed service levels.
The position requires a strong focus on customer service, compliance and delivering outcomes that align with customer, people and community expectations.
What we are looking for
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented coordinator with experience in complex planning or scheduling environments. You should be comfortable working across multiple platforms, able to learn new tools quickly and confident solving problems in a busy setting.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are important, as you will need to understand user needs, provide clear advice and keep people informed with accurate updates and reporting.
You should be able to work independently, exercise sound judgement about when to escalate issues, and consistently deliver a positive customer experience. A collaborative approach, adaptability and an interest in improving processes and capability will help you succeed in this role.
