Manager IT

Role Overview

The Manager IT will be responsible for crafting and executing the comprehensive IT roadmap for Porsche Asia Pacific, ensuring alignment with Porsche AG's overarching IT strategy, governance, and standards. This role requires overseeing IT projects from planning through implementation in close collaboration with Porsche AG headquarters, business units, and external vendors to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the IT strategy consistent with corporate standards and governance guidelines.
• Plan, budget, and manage IT projects collaboratively with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
• Drive digital transformation by integrating cutting-edge technologies such as cloud, AI, and business intelligence tools.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery with coordination between headquarters and external system integrators.
• Enforce strict compliance with information security policies including cybersecurity, data privacy, risk management, business continuity, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Lead and mentor local IT teams along with external service providers, optimizing resource allocation for operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Manage daily IT operations including device management, patching, user support, and IT asset lifecycle control to ensure accurate tracking and timely maintenance.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Between 8 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT operations, infrastructure, and project management, including leadership roles preferably within an international setting.
• Expertise in project management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft technologies, cloud computing platforms, infrastructure management, and digital innovation strategies.
• Strong grasp of information security domains such as cybersecurity, data privacy, IT governance, risk management, and business continuity.
• Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
• Highly self-driven, accountable, proactive, capable of thriving in multicultural environments, strong relationship building abilities, and able to achieve results independently.
