About the Role

Join us in building “The World’s Nicest Airline” by taking on the role of Materials Specialist, working under Materials Operations Supervisors to manage warehouse inventory and logistics supporting aircraft maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily material stores and line material functions ensuring smooth inventory and shipping operations.
  • Resolve issues relating to inventory accuracy, parts issuance, stocking, and equipment handling within warehouse operations.
  • Handle both Technical and Non-Technical warehouse inventories, including data entry related to material receiving, issuing, shipping, and warehousing.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Operations Control for managing tooling and equipment during Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery situations.
  • Maintain proper stock levels by monitoring minimum and maximum quantities and liaising with Maintenance, Purchasing, and other departments.
  • Conduct inventory audits and inspections to ensure compliance with the General Maintenance Manual (GMM).
  • Perform physical inventory checks to conform to stock requirements.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality teams on tooling calibration, shelf-life audits, and replacement activities to meet regulatory standards.
  • Carry out periodic receiving inspections under guidance from Quality Control.
  • Prepare hazardous material shipments compliant with IATA regulations.
  • Assist Engineering and Maintenance Planning teams in assembling fleet modification kits.
  • Fulfill additional duties as delegated by the Manager of Materials.
  • Consistently meet performance goals aligned with Breeze Aviation Group’s values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity, and Excellence.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in data entry or inventory management.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a record meeting Breeze standards; ability to drive company vehicles, trucks, forklifts, and ground service equipment.
  • Successful completion of Materials and GMM training courses.
  • Certification in Dangerous Goods handling and shipping per IATA, with ongoing recurrent training.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. per Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Proficiency operating 5K & 15K forklifts for handling aircraft engines and equipment.
  • Pass a comprehensive 10-year background and criminal history check.
  • Obtain and maintain SIDA and relevant airport or customs security badges per TSA regulations.
  • Fluency in English and minimum age of 18 years.
  • Demonstrate alignment with Breeze’s culture and values including being a proactive, positive self-starter.

Preferred Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Aerospace, or related field or equivalent trade/technical certification.
  • Familiarity with TRAX (M&E) inventory system.
  • Experience in warehousing or stockroom environments.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills for generating reports via TRAX, Excel, and other tools.
  • Valid passport without travel restrictions.

Compensation and Benefits
