About the Role
An opportunity is open for an experienced Embedded Automation Test Engineer who can lead work around embedded systems testing, automation, and protocol validation. The position calls for practical expertise in Robot Framework, Python-based automation, DNP3 protocol verification, and overall embedded system validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, enhance, and support automated testing frameworks with Robot Framework and Python.
- Carry out DNP3 protocol testing and validation with ASE2000 or an equivalent platform.
- Run functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end system testing for embedded products.
- Review test outcomes, raise defects, and coordinate with development teams to close issues.
- Keep test cases, automation code, and testing records up to date.
- Organize test assets through GitHub and manage issue tracking in JIRA.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in automation design and testing workflows.
Required Skills
- Hands-on background in embedded systems testing and automation engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of Robot Framework and Python.
- Experience testing the DNP3 protocol and using ASE2000.
- Understanding of embedded validation practices and protocol-level testing.
- Comfort with GitHub, JIRA, and Agile team environments.
Preferred Exposure
- Familiarity with PLC, BACnet, Modbus, or Profinet protocols.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, Omicron, Chroma, or Zephyr Squad.
- Experience in industrial automation, smart grid, or power systems domains.

Additional Information
This role is based in Pune, India. The offered pay range is INR 16,00,000 to INR 27,50,000 per year.
