Role overview

Greenridge Press is looking for an experienced offset printer to run advanced multi-colour sheet-fed presses in a modern commercial print facility. The position focuses on accurate colour control, correct registration, careful machine adjustments, and routine upkeep to keep production running smoothly.

Key duties

• Run A1 and A2 sheet-fed multi-colour LED-UV offset presses.
• Keep colour matching and print registration consistently accurate across commercial jobs.
• Carry out planned maintenance to maintain press performance.
• Spot mechanical faults or safety concerns and escalate them promptly.
• Work within structured production processes and maintain a tidy, organised workspace.

Experience and technical background

Applicants should either hold a printing trade qualification or have equivalent practical experience operating sheet-fed offset presses in a commercial print setting. A background of around 3 to 5+ years is preferred, especially on multi-colour equipment, although the employer is also open to recently qualified printers or early-career tradespeople with hands-on offset press exposure.

• Printing trade certification or equivalent experience in sheet-fed offset press work.
• Solid track record with multi-colour commercial print production.
• Familiarity with RMGT, Heidelberg, Komori, or Mitsubishi equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly for colour accuracy and registration.
• Ability to work independently while following established production systems.

Benefits and working environment

This position comes with an hourly pay rate of $35 to $45, with the final rate negotiable depending on experience. The package also includes overtime paid at time-and-a-half and double time, plus potential relocation support for the right candidate.
