About Us
We are building a diverse ecosystem of digital products and services aimed at transforming everyday life throughout the Middle East. Our goal is rapid, scalable, and deeply customer-centric delivery, reaching every door every day. Our innovation division, Everyday Labs, develops and tests new concepts quickly, advancing from early ideas to products actively used by customers. Our focus is on pioneering new technologies, launching innovative business models, and driving the company forward with a high level of ownership and rapid iteration.
We are currently developing Noon Business, a B2B marketplace that streamlines how companies procure their regular business supplies—making the process faster, more affordable, and offering better operational control. Think of it as the consumer-side Noon solution tailored for enterprise procurement.
Role Summary
As an Operations Manager, you will be pivotal in establishing and scaling comprehensive operational frameworks for our B2B marketplace. Your responsibilities will intersect with fulfillment, last-mile logistics, and customer experience, directly impacting platform scalability, reliability, and profitability. This is an active, hands-on role demanding high ownership and a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and improving unit economics.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the entire operational workflow covering order capture, fulfillment, invoicing, returns, and after-sales processes.
- Create operational strategies tailored to B2B-specific scenarios, such as bulk ordering, requests for quotations (RFQs), split deliveries, partial fulfills, and credit account management.
- Collaborate with Product, Logistics, Finance, and Seller teams to convert business requirements into scalable operational solutions.
- Establish and monitor essential operational KPIs, including on-time-in-full (OTIF), fill rates, order cancellations, return rates, and service level agreement (SLA) compliance.
- Detect workflow bottlenecks, operational weaknesses, and cost inefficiencies, and implement continuous improvements.
- Actively contribute to strategic business decisions by anchoring them in operational insights and realities.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in operations or supply chain management within marketplace businesses.
- Expertise in managing complex order workflows, preferably in B2B, enterprise, or large-scale e-commerce environments.
- Deep understanding of operational KPIs and cost management frameworks.
- Proven ability to excel in ambiguous, fast-paced settings with strong ownership drive.
Ideal Candidate Traits
- Proactive operators skilled at establishing processes from the ground up rather than relying on existing playbooks.
- Analytical systems thinkers capable of simplifying complex operational workflows.
- Strong data-driven decision-makers who rely on metrics to steer actions.
- Effective leaders comfortable both on the ground and in strategic meetings.
