Key Responsibilities

• Create and develop packaging designs for consumables and consumer packaged goods (CPG), maintaining consistency across different formats, sizes, and extensive SKU portfolios.
• Take ownership of packaging projects from initial concept stage through to final production, emphasizing execution accuracy and readiness for manufacturing.
• Manage versioning and adaptations for complex SKU assortments while ensuring brand consistency and timely market delivery.
• Utilize deep knowledge of dielines, color application, materials, printing techniques, and vendor requirements to produce superior packaging solutions.
• Work collaboratively with Brand, Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive packaging strategies.
• Partner with packaging structural engineers to align graphic designs with physical structures, materials, and manufacturing limitations.
• Develop scalable packaging templates and systems to enhance efficiency and uniformity across products.
• Oversee vendor collaborations to guarantee that final production aligns with design specifications and quality standards.
• Guide external agencies and production partners to maintain high-quality output and execution.
• Create detailed mockups and conceptual layouts for stakeholder communication and production preparedness.
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, Visual Communications, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Packaging Graphic Designer in corporate or in-house contexts.
• Demonstrated portfolio featuring conceptual and production-ready packaging, especially in consumables or CPG sectors.
• Experience managing scalable packaging systems and controlling versioning across multiple SKUs and packaging formats.
• Proven collaboration skills with packaging engineers and manufacturing partners.
• Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Familiarity with working alongside external creative agencies.
• Knowledge of generative AI tools applied within design processes.
