Position Overview
This role involves assisting airport check-in personnel with issues related to check-in, boarding, and seating arrangements. Additionally, the position serves as a helpdesk for codeshare flights and addresses concerns involving ancillary services like seating upgrades and baggage management through Electronic Miscellaneous Documents (EMD). The incumbent supports airport booking offices by managing reservations for the airline and interline ticket documents.
Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 support addressing network and aircraft-related queries in DCS-Customer Management, reservation, and ticketing.
- Log and escalate incidents with Amadeus on the Service Hub, ensuring thorough follow-ups until resolution.
- Assist with mishandled baggage issues and offer support using World Tracer systems.
- Supply Passenger Name Record (PNR) and check-in histories to airport and regulatory authorities as needed for customer service requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Effective communication skills in both written and spoken English.
- Practical familiarity with Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
- Experience or understanding of airport operations, ticketing, reservations, and airline passenger services is implied.
Eligibility
Applicants must hold a graduate degree in any discipline.
