Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Payroll Manager based in Kolkata to oversee comprehensive payroll functions. This role involves managing accurate salary processing, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements, preparing payroll reports, and administering employee payroll matters with confidentiality and precision.

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete monthly payroll cycle from start to finish.
• Guarantee adherence to statutory requirements including Provident Fund (PF), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Professional Tax (PT), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), and relevant labor laws.
• Conduct payroll audits, complete reconciliations, and generate Management Information System (MIS) reports.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance teams, and external vendors for payroll-related processes.
• Administer employee benefits, process reimbursements, and manage full and final settlements.
• Maintain accurate, confidential payroll records.
• Address payroll-related queries from employees and identify areas for process enhancement.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll operations.
• In-depth knowledge of statutory compliance and labor legislation.
• Expertise in payroll audits and reconciliation techniques.
• Proficient with payroll software and MIS reporting systems.
• MBA degree is mandatory.
• Minimum of 9 years experience in payroll management.
• Proven track record managing payrolls for large employee bases.
• Preferred experience in sectors like Infrastructure, Construction, Steel Manufacturing, Metal & Mining, Railway, and Industrial Equipment.
