Role Overview

The Porter supports repair quality by preparing customer vehicles for delivery through thorough cleaning and by keeping the shop, office, and surrounding areas neat, organized, and presentable.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the WOW operating approach consistently in daily work.
• Keep the office clean each day by emptying trash, washing floors, and dusting counters and work surfaces.
• Maintain cleanliness in the production area by removing waste, sweeping floors, discarding unused vehicle parts, and returning tools and equipment to their proper places.
• Keep parking areas and grounds tidy and orderly, including clearing sidewalks when needed.
• Pre-wash customer vehicles before repair work begins.
• Clean the inside and outside of vehicles once repairs have been completed.
• Move customer vehicles to outside repair locations as required.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Prior automotive experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks is important.
• Good close-up vision is needed.
• Strong eye for detail is expected.

Physical and Work Requirements

• Frequent pulling, pushing, and carrying.
• Walking for 5+ hours.
• Sitting as needed.
• Standing for 5+ hours.
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling for 1+ hour.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working near moving mechanical parts.
