Job Overview
A reputable private wealth firm in London is seeking an experienced Power BI Analyst for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension. The position supports enhancement of the company's Data Warehouse and fosters expansion of data insights throughout the organization. This role is situated within the Business Solutions & Data Analytics (BSDA) team and entails close collaboration with senior stakeholders across Operations, Risk & Compliance, Projects, and Front Office groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop sophisticated Power BI dashboards and reports utilizing SQL data models.
- Coordinate and support Data Warehouse project delivery to align with organizational priorities.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and transform them into precise documentation.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members and act as a primary resource for Power BI and data inquiries.
- Encourage a culture of data-driven decision-making in partnership with BSDA, IT, and Project teams.
- Contribute positively to fostering a collaborative team environment.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 3 years experience in business intelligence and data warehousing, especially within financial services or private wealth sectors.
- Expertise in advanced Power BI capabilities including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Proficient in SQL and data transformation techniques.
- Experience with CRM, portfolio management, and risk monitoring platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Desirable Knowledge
- Familiarity with Pulse/Symphony, XPLAN, Bita Risk, First Rate, and PowerApps.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence applications within financial services.

- Location: London, hybrid working arrangements.
- Compensation: Approximately £65,000 per annum.
- Contract duration: 6 months fixed term with possible extension.
