Job Purpose

The role focuses on overseeing the procurement operations, including planning, sourcing, negotiating, and securing goods and services, while ensuring timely fulfillment, cost-efficiency, supplier performance, and compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of purchasing procedures such as processing purchase requests, supplier sourcing, evaluating quotations, issuing purchase orders, conducting negotiations, and ensuring timely receipt of goods and services.
• Lead procurement activities supporting corporate functions and event execution, covering production, audio-visual, venues, branding, furniture, catering, logistics, promotional products, and entertainment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand and prioritize procurement needs, aligning purchasing with operational and project schedules.
• Negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and commercial agreements to maximize value without compromising quality or service.
• Build and maintain relationships with approved suppliers through evaluation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure dependable service delivery.
• Track spending against budgets, analyze purchasing patterns, pursue cost-saving options, and generate purchasing reports along with management dashboards.
• Ensure strict adherence to company procurement policies, authority delegations, contracts, and governance standards, maintaining thorough documentation.
• Address supplier issues, such as delivery delays, quality problems, invoice inconsistencies, and procurement risks to minimize disruptions and uphold business continuity.
• Support inventory management and demand forecasting by aligning procurement timing with operational demands and supplier lead times as needed.
• Promote ongoing optimization of purchasing processes, systems, supplier effectiveness, and operational efficiency to improve service quality and procurement outcomes.
• Contribute strategic input for the department from the unit or section perspective consistent with RSG's vision and mission.
• Develop unit or section objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and annual operation plans, ensuring these meet established targets.
• Assist in preparing budgets for the section or unit and oversee financial performance.
• Implement and monitor adherence to policies and procedures within the section or unit, managing performance and KPI communication.
• Ensure appropriate staffing, employee development, and deployment within the section or unit coordinating with senior management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related disciplines.
• At least 8 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 1 year in managerial roles.
