Job Overview
The QA Engineer plays a crucial role in guaranteeing the quality and dependability of both web and mobile applications by conducting thorough manual and automated testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and implement detailed test plans and test cases to validate application functionality.
- Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, performance, and security assessments.
- Develop and upkeep automated testing scripts using appropriate tools.
- Work closely with software developers to detect, report, and fix software defects.
- Ensure all software releases comply with established quality benchmarks prior to deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Have 2 to 4 years of professional experience in quality assurance or software testing.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Cypress.
- Must currently be residing in Qatar.
Preferred Certifications
- ISTQB Certified Tester
- Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA)
