Schedule

This role requires working Wednesday through Saturday from 5pm to 5am.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operate resin manufacturing and processing equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality resins used in paint products.
• Adhere strictly to all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies and use required safety equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of workspaces and equipment.
• Manage raw material inventory by transferring materials from warehouse or storage to processing areas.
• Process resins and latex emulsions following batch instructions and standard operating procedures, including equipment manipulation such as valves, gauges, pumps, and agitators.
• Monitor batch processes by taking electronic data readings, collecting quality control samples, and performing prescribed quality tests.
• Record data accurately and adjust batch quality as required; calibrate and monitor lab testing equipment.
• Filter and transfer completed, quality-approved materials to storage tanks.
• Clean reactors according to procedures.
• Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards, including floor painting, equipment relocation, and cleaning hardened resin.
• Manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste per regulations.
• Actively uphold safety expectations among team members and promptly address safety concerns.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in chemical manufacturing is preferred.
• Physical capability to walk stairs repeatedly during a 12-hour shift and climb ladders as necessary.
• Availability to work 12-hour shifts, 3-4 days per week, including overtime.
• Forklift experience is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with computerized systems such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and SAP.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent sitting, standing, bending, twisting neck and waist, squatting, and kneeling throughout the shift.
• Occasional lifting and moving of objects weighing between 10-75 pounds for one to three or more hours during the shift.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment including eye protection, safety shoes, and full-face respirator.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly wage ranging from $24.00 to $31.80 per hour.
