About Ana Luisa

Ana Luisa is a Brooklyn-based jewelry ecommerce brand built around a simple belief: well-made jewelry should not come at the expense of the planet. The company focuses on making thoughtfully designed everyday pieces that are fairly priced, ethically produced, and intended to create a positive impact for both people and the environment.

About the Role

Ana Luisa is looking for a highly organized recruiter who is strong at building relationships to support hiring and workforce growth across its retail organization. This position owns the end-to-end recruiting process for retail roles and works closely with store leaders and the People Team to bring in strong candidates while ensuring a smooth and positive candidate journey.

The right person will be proactive, detail-focused, and enthusiastic about connecting the right people with the right opportunities. The role begins part time, with the possibility of moving into a full-time position. It is a practical, people-centered job for someone who enjoys fast-paced work, stays organized under pressure, and values a polished employee experience.

The reporting line for this role is to the Senior HRBP, and the position is based for the Midwest and East Coast regions.

  • Handle the complete hiring process for retail positions such as Stylists, Keyholders, Assistant Store Managers, and Store Managers.
  • Create and keep job listings active across approved hiring channels.
  • Find suitable candidates through job boards, employee referrals, networking, and direct outreach.
  • Develop and nurture talent pools for both immediate and future hiring needs.
  • Screen applicants early in the process and evaluate them against the role criteria.

Interview Coordination and Candidate Experience

  • Arrange interviews between applicants and hiring managers across several locations.
  • Oversee communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey.
  • Make sure candidates get prompt updates and clear next steps.
  • Provide a professional and positive experience from application through offer stage.
  • Keep response times aligned with service-level expectations.

Offer Processing and Hiring Administration

  • Complete reference checks for final-stage candidates.
  • Draft and send offer letters in coordination with the People Team.
  • Track offer acceptances and maintain accurate recruitment records.
  • Hand off accepted candidates to HR for onboarding and new hire processing.

Recruiting Operations

  • Keep candidate data accurate and up to date in the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Ensure candidates are dispositioned on time during every stage of the process.
  • Monitor key recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill, pipeline strength, and hiring progress.
  • Share regular hiring updates with managers and People leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of recruiting experience, ideally in retail, hospitality, consumer brands, or other multi-location environments.
  • Comfort handling several open roles at once.
  • Strong planning, organization, and project coordination abilities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop trust and working relationships with both managers and candidates.
  • Hands-on experience with ATS tools and recruiting platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Background

  • Prior experience hiring for retail leadership roles.
  • Exposure to new store launches or large-scale hiring efforts.
  • Understanding of hiring across multiple states.
  • Experience in a fast-moving, growth-focused environment.
