Security Guard

Role overview

G4S is looking for a trained Security Guard to help safeguard sites such as construction locations, courts, retail outlets, warehouses, banks, and factories. The role involves mobile and foot patrols, access control, surveillance monitoring, emergency response, and preventing suspicious or unlawful activity.

Key duties

• Safeguard the premises, assets, and sensitive information.
• Submit daily updates and reports to the supervisor in line with process requirements.
• Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
• Observe health, safety, and environmental rules without exception.
• Operate and keep watch over security equipment and systems.
• Manage entry and exit for people, materials, and vehicles.
• Walk the site to check for unsafe conditions or risks to people and property.
• Inspect outdoor parking areas to protect vehicles and identify unauthorized individuals.
• Prepare written reports whenever needed.

Ideal candidate

Applicants should have completed at least 10th standard. Men should be at least 5 feet 7 inches tall, while women should be at least 5 feet tall. Freshers should be between 18 and 35 years of age, and experienced security guards may be up to 40 years old. Candidates must be physically and medically fit and should present a mature appearance.
