About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Site Reliability Engineer to participate in a paid remote AI training program centered on Infrastructure as Code (IaC). This contract position offers a flexible, fully remote work setup where you can engage up to 40 hours weekly depending on project availability. The role involves creating realistic engineering prompts, configuring local AWS simulation environments, and developing robust solutions verified by automated end-to-end testing. This opportunity is ideal for senior DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure engineers looking for asynchronous, project-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and write natural language prompts styled as engineering tickets, incorporating realistic ambiguity and professional context for AI learning.
- Configure and maintain LocalStack sandbox environments to emulate AWS services for infrastructure validation.
- Develop the initial infrastructure configurations alongside a "golden solution" that passes automated end-to-end tests.
- Maintain high quality standards for tasks; reject simplistic or poorly structured submissions.
- Evaluate AI-generated response pairs to select the correct infrastructure solution.
- Create straightforward prompts serving as foundational starting points for AI model development.
Qualifications
- Experience at a senior level in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Expertise with at least one major IaC platform: AWS CDK, Terraform (HCL), or CloudFormation preferred; Pulumi, AzureRM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet are of medium to low priority.
- Strong coding skills in at least one scripting or programming language relevant to infrastructure tasks, such as TypeScript, Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Excellent English written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical details clearly and adhering to style standards.

Compensation and Benefits
- Earn up to 50 USD per hour, with additional bonuses based on expertise and project specifics.
- Payments processed through PayPal and AirTM.

Work Arrangements
- Fully remote work model with flexible scheduling tailored to individual availability.
- Typical weekly commitment varies from 5 to 10 hours but can extend up to 40 hours contingent on projects.
