Solar Designer

Overview

Classic Signages Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Solar Designer to join their team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. This position focuses on crafting efficient solar project layouts utilizing tools like AutoCAD and PVsyst, assisting in system design, material preparation, and simulations to support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed site layouts with AutoCAD and PVsyst software.
• Compile Bill of Materials (BOM) specifically for structural components.
• Conduct cost estimations associated with structural elements.
• Liaise effectively with supervisors, contractors, and officers to resolve design-related queries.
• Execute solar PV simulations for both rooftop and ground-mounted systems.
• Analyze energy yield, calculate performance ratios, and assess system losses.
• Design and optimize solar module arrangements, wiring configurations, and inverter sizing.
• Perform shading analysis and evaluate site performance metrics.
• Produce detailed simulation reports and feasibility assessments.
• Provide accurate engineering data to support pre-bid and proposal stages.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical).
• Between 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in solar project design or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and PVsyst software tools.
• Basic competency with MS Excel and MS Word applications.
• Effective communication skills and prompt responsiveness, including phone availability.
