Role Overview
This position sits within a collaborative, cross-functional team that builds and improves digital forensics products for law enforcement, government bodies, and businesses. The Solutions Consultant acts as the main technical advisor and product champion during the sales journey, working with sales counterparts to understand customer needs, shape suitable solutions, and deliver strong product demonstrations and presentations.
The role depends on solid digital forensic knowledge, familiarity with investigation workflows, and the ability to support both near-term deal progression and longer-term customer outcomes. The consultant also builds trust with customers and works under the Manager, Solution Consultants for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main technical point of contact between the sales team and clients across the sales process.
- Deliver clear, persuasive demonstrations and presentations that highlight product capabilities and customer value.
- Work with sales colleagues to assess customer needs and design solutions suited to their challenges.
- Provide technical input for proposals so that recommendations reflect client goals and accepted industry practice.
- Support handover from pre-sales into post-sales and coordinate with support teams to help customers onboard successfully.
- Train and guide the sales team on product changes, new features, and market developments.
- Keep up with competitors and market movements to help refine positioning and sales approach.
Requirements
- A college degree or diploma in engineering, IT, computer science, or an equivalent level of experience.
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on exposure to computer, mobile, and cloud forensic or investigative software such as AXIOM, IEF, FTK, EnCase, XRY, GrayKey, GrayKey FasTrak, DVR Examiner, Magnet Witness, Griffeye, VeraKey, Cellebrite, or Oxygen.
- 3 to 5 years of experience deploying or managing forensic tools within networked environments.
- 3 to 5 years of experience handling multimedia-related investigations using tools such as DVR Examiner, Magnet Witness, and Griffeye.
- Desirable exposure to cloud environments and virtual machines.
- Desirable experience with law enforcement investigations.
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
- Additional language ability is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel about 40% of the time.
- Mandarin fluency, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
The total target compensation for the primary location is listed at SGD 135,000 to SGD 165,000 per year. Actual pay may differ based on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge, and skills. Because this is a sales role, the stated range reflects total target compensation, including base salary and variable pay where applicable.
