Supply Chain Associate

Overview

We are seeking a Supply Chain Associate to oversee logistics planning and coordination with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and customs house agents (CHAs). This role involves ensuring efficient shipment schedules and forwarding of spares to vessels within designated geographical areas. The position requires active stakeholder engagement and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate logistics planning alongside 3PL and customs agents.
• Establish and maintain shipment frequency and logistics networks to support vessel spares delivery on time.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to resolve logistics and supply chain issues.
• Manage the procure-to-pay process, ensuring timely vendor payments and resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Collaborate with various teams including technical departments, category teams, and 3PL partners for seamless operations.
• Monitor delivery workflows to warehouses and vessels coordinating with 3PL providers.
• Optimize vessel budget utilization efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), contract terms, international regulations, and company policies.
• Practice the 4R Principle: delivering right price, right place, right time, and right quantities consistently.
• Support the company's commitment to carbon neutrality by minimizing supply chain emissions.
• Respond promptly to urgent matters involving key stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or logistics.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related discipline.
• Sound understanding of supply chain management and international logistics operations.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in managing stakeholders and building relationships under challenging circumstances.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong service orientation.
• Preferred knowledge of non-purchasing logistics areas such as vessel operations, technical insights, and customs regulations for the regions serviced.
• Ability to multitask effectively within tight deadlines, maintaining attention to details.
