This position demands a blend of practical data management and strong analytical skills to detect inefficiencies, resolve discrepancies, and streamline supply chain operations. Maintaining data integrity within critical master data domains—material master, vendor master, source lists, and purchasing info records—is a central responsibility. The analyst will also leverage data insights to identify operational trends, optimize processes, and reduce reliance on manual workflows.
Key Responsibilities

- Investigate and resolve data quality issues by applying established governance procedures and utilizing appropriate tools.
- Conduct periodic data audits, validations, and exception reporting to ensure consistent accuracy across supply chain systems.
- Manipulate and analyze large datasets to identify inconsistencies, root causes of recurring data problems, and performance trends.
- Transform raw data into actionable insights that drive improvements in planning accuracy, procurement execution, and inventory management.
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance, optimize, and automate manual processes related to data maintenance, reporting, and exception handling.
- Facilitate collaboration across functions by mapping current workflows and supporting the creation of scalable solutions such as templates, standards, and basic automation techniques.
- Work closely with teams in Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain Risk to resolve discrepancies, align on data definitions, and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Manage key planning parameters, including ABC indicators, lot sizing methodologies, coverage profiles, and procurement attributes.
- Execute and oversee transactional workflows within SAP ECC/S4 involving updates, validations, and approvals.
- Support the development of data quality metrics, dashboards, and reporting tools to track and communicate progress on data remediation activities.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- 2 to 4 years' experience in supply chain, operations, analytics, or data-centric roles.
- Strong analytical abilities, including proficiency manipulating data in Excel and preferably SQL, capable of working with complex or incomplete datasets.
- Experience in data cleansing, validation, and maintenance, with familiarity using ERP systems, particularly SAP's Material Master, Vendor Master, and purchasing data modules.
- Ability to interpret and convert data into meaningful insights, visualizations, and recommendations for process enhancements.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to data accuracy and adherence to governance policies, while actively seeking improvements.
- Excellent communication skills suitable for cross-functional collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or related discipline.
Preferred Skills
