Key Responsibilities

• Deliver technical assistance to users on Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.

• Handle and prioritize technical support requests using ticketing tools such as Jira.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, network connectivity, and infrastructure problems.
• Oversee device lifecycle including inventory management, deployment, upkeep, and replacement.
• Implement and maintain security technologies like VPNs, antivirus programs, mobile device management (MDM), backup solutions, firewalls, and monitoring tools.
• Ensure adherence to internal IT policies, security protocols, and operational standards.
• Keep technical documentation, processes, and knowledge bases current and comprehensive.
• Assist in network administration tasks involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, among others.
• Initiate improvements in IT operations through automation, scripting, and enhanced workflows.
• Support user access controls, system configurations, and infrastructure-related activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Between two and four years of experience in system administration or a similar IT support capacity.
• Proficient in managing Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Solid understanding of networking principles including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and VLANs.
• Experience with security tools such as antivirus software, firewalls, backup systems, MDM platforms, and logging utilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for diagnosing hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and technical documentation maintenance.
• Basic scripting knowledge using languages like Bash or PowerShell is desirable.
• Preferred experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, and virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Excellent communication skills to support users with clarity and professionalism.
• Capability to work independently, manage priorities effectively, and thrive in a remote work setting.
