About the Role

Join Stantec's expanding planning division and contribute to a broad array of projects encompassing development management, infrastructure, environmental, and strategic planning. This role centers on delivering planning applications, creating planning strategies, and managing stakeholder engagement, primarily within the Water and Energy sectors, while collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.

As a Town Planner, you will be instrumental in steering planning projects nationwide, focusing on infrastructure, environmental, and development contexts. Your duties will involve drafting planning documents, advising clients and teams, and cooperating closely with planning authorities and stakeholders to support high-profile projects.

Your Impact

You will facilitate the progression of planning applications and infrastructure initiatives efficiently through the planning framework. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that environmental, social, and economic factors are balanced to yield benefits for communities and clients.

Candidate Profile

We seek a motivated professional with 3 to 7 years of experience in town or environmental planning or a related area. A comprehensive knowledge of Irish planning laws and policies is essential, alongside a proven track record preparing applications and reports. Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, coupled with the ability to multitask and collaborate effectively, are key to thriving in this role.

• Experience in preparing detailed planning applications and technical reports.
