Video Data Analyst

Role overview

This is a remote contract opportunity for a Video Data Analyst. The role focuses on collecting high-quality motion data and synchronized video footage to support technical validation and data integrity standards.

Compensation and schedule

The position pays $13 per hour and is expected to require 10 to 40 hours of work each week.

What you will do

• Use a smartphone’s sensor suite (IMU) to capture accurate movement data while completing assigned physical tasks.
• Record video at the same time as sensor collection so the footage can be used to verify and improve the dataset.
• Work strictly within detailed technical instructions so every submission meets the required quality, labeling, and consistency rules.
• Deliver completed data on time and in line with project timelines.
• Stay in regular communication with the team to resolve questions and share feedback about the collection workflow.
• Complete the required device-compatibility checks and go through a custom AI-based interview process.

What is required

• Access to a head strap is needed within 48 hours of the start date so both hands can be recorded.
• Strong ability to follow structured protocols and technical directions with precision.
• Demonstrated experience producing dependable work in a quick-moving, data-focused setting.
• Good written and spoken communication skills for remote coordination and documentation.
• Comfort using mobile devices and a solid level of digital fluency.
• Physical ability to carry out repetitive motion tasks safely and accurately.
