Role Responsibilities

• Clean and detail equipment thoroughly using pressure washers, vacuums, and cleaning solutions
• Keep the equipment yard and wash bay tidy and orderly
• Support drivers by assisting with loading and unloading machinery
• Operate forklifts and other construction machinery as required
• Inspect returned equipment for any damage, complete service tags, and report issues
• Adhere strictly to all safety rules and regulations
• Handle fueling operations, tire storage, and equipment relocation duties when necessary
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to maintain efficient workflow

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Possess a valid Class G driver’s license with a clean or acceptable driving record (no more than three demerit points) and be ready to provide a current driver’s abstract upon request
• Good physical fitness to stand for extended durations and ability to lift about 50 pounds
• Forklift certification or hands-on experience with forklifts and construction equipment is preferred
• Comfortable working outdoors throughout all seasons
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
• Mechanical skills or previous operational experience with construction machines is advantageous
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly and perform well in a dynamic, fast-moving environment
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to operate well within a team
• Eagerness to learn more about construction equipment and the rental business
• Familiar with using computers and technology relevant to equipment inspections and inventory management

Salary and Location

Hourly wage ranges from $18.00 to $23.00. Position based at 1750 Brimley Road, Scarborough, Ontario.
