Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Python AI Architect possessing over 8 years of experience in software development and robust capabilities in building enterprise-scale AI applications. The role demands expertise in Python, Generative AI, large language models, retrieval-augmented generation techniques, multi-agent systems, and cloud-native architecture on AWS. You will spearhead the architecture, development, and rollout of scalable AI-powered solutions while guiding engineering teams and working alongside various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable AI and machine learning applications leveraging Python.
• Create enterprise-grade generative AI platforms utilizing LLMs such as OpenAI's GPT, AWS Bedrock, Claude, or Gemini.
• Construct and fine-tune Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines incorporating vector database technologies.
• Design and implement multi-agent AI frameworks using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices centered on AI functionality through FastAPI.
• Integrate AI solutions seamlessly with business applications and external APIs.
• Build cloud-native AWS-based architectures ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Tune AI models for optimized performance, response times, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to shape strategic AI initiatives.
• Define and enforce best practices in software architecture, code quality, security standards, testing procedures, and continuous integration/deployment processes.
• Mentor technical teams and conduct rigorous architecture and code review sessions.
• Assess emerging AI technologies, fostering innovation and adoption of advanced solutions.

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Python application development.
• Proficiency in Python programming, FastAPI framework, and REST API design.
• Expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex for AI workflows.
• Deep knowledge of large language models and prompt engineering techniques.
• Experience in creating agentic AI and retrieval-augmented generation applications.
• Familiarity with embedding models and vector database technologies including Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB, or Weaviate.
• Sound understanding of AI model orchestration, tool integration, and automation of workflow processes.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and Step Functions.
• Solid skills in Docker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, and microservice architectures.
• Working knowledge of database systems like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with version control using Git, CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Comprehensive grasp of software design patterns, distributed system principles, and scalable system design.

Preferred but Not Mandatory

• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Understanding of MLOps principles and deploying operational AI models.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of messaging queues and event-driven architectures like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Exposure to AI observability and monitoring technologies.
• Possession of AWS Solutions Architect or AI/ML professional certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.
