Role Overview

Joining the Global Sales Operations, you will work closely with the Global Sales Reporting Lead to create and maintain robust Power BI reporting solutions that support global sales, retailer, and customer experience activities. Your primary responsibility is to transform defined requirements into effective, well-structured Power BI dashboards leveraging Snowflake as the data platform, covering metrics such as leads, orders, retailer performance, inventory, and customer experience.

The technology stack includes Microsoft Power BI (with composite models using Azure Analysis Services and shared datasets), Snowflake data warehouse, and Power Automate for workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and support new and existing reports and dashboards to deliver reliable analytical insights aligned with strategic business goals.
• Analyze, clean, transform, and model data to uncover actionable insights and facilitate informed decision-making.
• Define and refine logical and physical data models supporting BI initiatives by capturing detailed data requirements.
• Conduct testing, manage test scenarios, facilitate user acceptance testing, and provide end-user training.
• Manage and support the BI environment, including technology upgrades and first-line support for BI users.

Required Skills and Experience

• Proficiency in Power BI development including data modeling, advanced DAX (filter context, time intelligence, performance tuning), Power Query, and dashboard design.
• Experience using composite models and shared enterprise data sets with an understanding of their limitations.
• Strong SQL skills applicable to cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake, including query writing, testing, and optimization.
• Good understanding of dimensional modeling principles (Kimball methodology) and decision-making between implementing solutions in the data warehouse versus semantic models.
• Experience managing Power BI administration aspects such as licensing, security roles, permissions, and workspace management.
• Ability to work independently from detailed specifications, proactively identifying risks and respecting change approval processes.
• Fluency in English with strong communication capabilities, both verbal and written.

Desirable Additional Experience

• Hands-on experience in Power BI report and dashboard development and platform administration.
• Exposure to SAP-sourced data systems (S/4HANA, C4C) and ELT tools like Dell Boomi.
• Use of Power Automate or similar tools for automating scheduled workflow and data exports.
• Familiarity with building efficient data pipelines and large dataset processing.
• Experience developing integrated data solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem, including Microsoft Fabric.
• Comfort working in Agile or Waterfall project management environments.
• Ability to train and present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, best practices, architecture, and BI software development lifecycle phases.
