Brewer / Brewery Operations Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable brewery professional to act as a representative for Mount Everest Breweries Limited at our partnered brewery facility in Northeast Assam. This position requires overseeing and coordinating various production-related functions to ensure smooth operations and maintain the highest standards of product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee brewing, packaging, and dispatch activities in line with the production schedule.
• Collaborate with Central Purchasing to secure timely availability of raw materials and packaging supplies.
• Supervise brewing procedures, monitor product quality, and enforce compliance with company standard operating procedures.
• Manage inventory control, material reconciliation, and prepare production-related reports.
• Coordinate dispatch schedules and logistics to ensure prompt delivery.
• Handle excise documentation and maintain adherence to all statutory requirements related to production and dispatch.
• Work in close conjunction with the contract manufacturing partner, company headquarters, and cross-functional teams to meet production, quality, and service benchmarks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational management information system (MIS) reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in B.Sc. or M.Sc. specializing in Brewing, Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields.
• Between 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience managing brewery operations.
• Familiarity with brewing processes, packaging procedures, supply chain logistics, inventory handling, and brewery excise regulations.
• Strong communication skills paired with solid planning and coordination abilities.
• Preferred proficiency with MS Excel and ERP/SAP software systems.
