CCTV Operator

About the Role

IIQAF Group, based in Dubai within the insurance sector, is looking for a diligent CCTV Operator to strengthen our security operations team. The role involves continuous monitoring of surveillance systems, ensuring the protection of company assets, safeguarding employees and visitors, detecting security threats, managing incident responses, and keeping precise security records.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise CCTV camera feeds to detect unauthorized or suspicious activities.
• Review both live and recorded video footage to support security investigations.
• Promptly report any security incidents, hazards, or emergencies to designated personnel.
• Manage and observe access control and alarm systems alongside other electronic security tools.
• Keep comprehensive logs of incidents, surveillance activities, and daily security operations.
• React swiftly to alarms and breaches following company-established protocols.
• Collaborate closely with security staff, facility managers, and emergency teams.
• Retrieve and archive CCTV footage for investigations and insurance documentation purposes.
• Ensure all surveillance equipment is operational and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Conduct regular system maintenance checks to guarantee seamless surveillance.
• Monitor access of visitors and track employee movements in specified areas.
• Adhere strictly to company security policies and confidentiality guidelines.
• Assist internal investigations with accurate surveillance evidence.
• Maintain strict confidentiality concerning footage and company data.
• Contribute to enhancing security protocols and risk prevention measures.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Security Management or Criminal Justice is beneficial.
• Previous experience in roles such as CCTV Operator, Security Control Room Operator, or Surveillance Analyst preferred.
• Experience within insurance, banking, corporate office environments, commercial buildings, hotels, or facility management is advantageous.
• Knowledgeable about CCTV, IP camera technologies, DVR/NVR systems, access control, and alarm monitoring.
• Familiar with security operations, incident handling, and emergency response policies.
• Excellent observational skills, analytical mindset, and sound decision-making abilities.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Capable of maintaining composure and effective action in emergency situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and security management software is a plus.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
