Role Overview
We are seeking a full-time Communications Intern to join our Washington, D.C. office. This paid internship is a hybrid role and commences immediately upon offer. The Communications practice supports a broad range of clients at the federal, state, and local levels, fostering engagement with critical issues, initiatives, and brand promotion.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, edit, and proofread communications materials.
- Create and update press contact lists.
- Monitor media coverage and prepare detailed reports.
- Compile and distribute media clip reports.
- Conduct research on client-related issues.
- Coordinate and arrange internal meetings.
Candidate Requirements
- Interest in public relations, communications, and political environments; open to all academic fields.
- Motivated and ready to tackle new challenges and projects.
- Capable of managing assignments effectively, prioritizing tasks, and proactively seeking learning opportunities.
- Availability during standard business hours, Monday through Friday.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools is advantageous.
