Role Overview

We seek an innovative and highly organized Content Lead to spearhead the creation and execution of compelling content across diverse platforms, including paid advertising channels. This role is hands-on, focusing heavily on writing, filming, and producing top-tier content while providing leadership to interns and a roster of content creators. Responsibilities include coaching creators, approving storyboards, crafting scripts, and ensuring all content aligns with Javvy's brand voice and strategic objectives.

The Content Lead will also coordinate content requests across departments, acting as a liaison to maintain creative vision and effective execution. This role requires a versatile individual comfortable both on-camera and behind the scenes, adept at mentoring others and transforming ideas into impactful content that generates measurable engagement.

This position is primarily based at our Charleston, SC office.

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously research and implement emerging content trends, platform updates, and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the team.
• Create, shoot, and edit diverse, high-quality content optimized for various audiences and platforms, including material for paid advertising.
• Develop and finalize storyboards, write scripts, and produce creative briefs to ensure clarity and excellence in all projects.
• Lead, coach, and mentor internal interns and content creators, setting strong creative standards and clear expectations.
• Manage and prioritize content requests from multiple departments to ensure alignment with company strategy and deadlines.
• Oversee the content production lifecycle from concept development through delivery, balancing multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

• Proven background in content creation, filming, and editing with a portfolio showcasing your work.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in coaching or mentoring junior creative professionals.
• Strong writing skills, particularly in scripting and brand communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently under tight deadlines.
• A comprehensive understanding of social media platforms, current trends, and audience engagement techniques.
• Highly collaborative, adaptable, and well-organized to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience in marketing, advertising, or agency settings is advantageous.
