Position Overview
In your role as a Controller for the Business Unit Composites, you will serve as the primary contact for all business management inquiries within this unit. You will be responsible for accurate cost allocation and conducting detailed analyses of results, including budget vs actual comparisons and ad-hoc reporting focused on production costs, wastage, and personnel deployment.
Key Duties
- Act as the business partner for controlling matters within the composites division.
- Lead cost and results analyses, ensuring costs are properly attributed and outcomes monitored.
- Develop and refine key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance reporting transparency and efficiency.
- Perform in-depth investment controlling, including creating business cases and management decision templates based on thorough profitability analyses and cost simulations.
- Continuously supervise business and product performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure objectives are met.
Candidate Requirements
- Completed degree in economics, industrial engineering, or a related field with an emphasis on controlling.
- Proven controlling experience within an industrial company, particularly in cost accounting and performance/result reporting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Fluent in both German and English for negotiation and communication.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex issues tailored to the audience.
- Independent, efficient, and solution-focused working style with high self-motivation and commitment.
- Persuasive with excellent communication skills and assertiveness.
- Willingness to travel and undertake project work at domestic and international sites.

You will oversee the financial steering and control of the composites business within one of our companies both domestically and abroad, including subsidiaries. As a key business partner, you will significantly contribute to implementing our growth strategy by driving cost structure optimization, investment decisions, and controlling processes with analytical skill and proactive problem-solving. This role is vital for achieving sustained operational excellence.
