Position Overview
As a Digital Media Strategy Executive based in Los Angeles, you will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Campaign Management, Finance, Data, and Research teams to manage the end-to-end digital campaign process, aiming to boost revenue across Condé Nast's advertising products. This role is pivotal, serving as the primary Sales contact for creating, implementing, and overseeing complex digital advertising campaigns within an assigned category. Your deep knowledge of client objectives and digital advertising solutions, combined with a data-driven mindset, will inform strategies and optimizations.
Key Duties
- Manage the full digital deal lifecycle including media plan development, order booking, IO processing, campaign execution, ongoing optimization, and billing facilitation.
- Maintain expert understanding of digital advertising products such as data-driven solutions, video, social, and emerging offerings; collaborate with Marketing, Yield/Inventory, and Global Revenue Strategy teams pre-sale.
- Develop and oversee strategic, KPI-focused media plans with budget tracking to monitor deal status.
- Coordinate campaign trafficking, creative asset management, pacing, optimization, and reporting in partnership with Campaign Management.
- Advise Sales and clients on integrating Condé Nast's proprietary digital media solutions into marketing programs.
- Handle client inquiries, inventory and technical specifications, campaign trafficking, troubleshooting, and optimization processes internally.
- Process campaign adjustments including budget changes, cancellations, and targeting/flight alterations within order management systems, and analyze performance to recommend optimizations.
- Communicate with agencies, clients, internal teams, and vendors regarding custom program setups.
- Collaborate with Campaign Management to assess risk and ensure delivery aligns with contracted KPIs.
- Work alongside Billing to supply accurate delivery data for timely and accurate invoicing.
- Contribute to campaign wrap-up presentations by providing final performance reports and insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Sales or Account Management support within digital advertising.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with both external clients and internal teams.
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-changing, high-paced environment, efficiently adjusting to shifting client goals and priorities.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong analytical abilities with a record of generating actionable ideas and solutions.
- Demonstrates proactive, independent work style while contributing effectively within a team setting.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this role ranges from $78,000 to $89,000 annually, influenced by experience, expertise, seniority, and education. Alongside a comprehensive employee benefits package, eligible candidates might receive discretionary bonuses.
