District Manager

Role Overview

The District Manager is responsible for supervising daily route activities, ensuring effective delivery operations, maintaining high customer service standards, and managing service team personnel. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role demands leadership in operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the execution of delivery and service routes daily to guarantee precise and efficient fulfillment of customer needs.
• Manage and optimize route schedules, coverage areas, and workload assignments to enhance productivity.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to route drivers and service staff to improve performance and maintain accountability.
• Address and resolve escalated customer service issues, delivery obstacles, and service challenges consistently.
• Implement and uphold company safety policies, Department of Transportation regulations where applicable, and standard operating procedures.

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in route operations, delivery management, transportation, service management, or logistics leadership roles.
• At least one year of direct supervisory or leadership experience.
• Excellent communication, customer service capabilities, and conflict resolution skills.
• Possession of a valid driving license with a clean driving record, free of chargeable accidents, speeding, or safety violations; applicants must be 21 years or older.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Operation of vehicles on public roads and at various customer locations, including industrial laundry facilities, service centers, or depots.
• Frequent travel within the branch's service territory to customer sites.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, and product types accurately and perform basic arithmetic for inventory counts.
