About the Role and Company
Durapid Technologies Private Limited is collaborating with a major airline enterprise to develop advanced intelligent, cloud-first data platforms. We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data & AI Architect to lead the creation and implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies, artificial intelligence innovations, and cloud modernization initiatives based in the UAE (Dubai / Abu Dhabi).
Key Responsibilities
- Steer the overall enterprise data and AI strategic vision.
- Design and architect Azure Data Platforms and Lakehouse solutions.
- Develop cutting-edge Generative AI, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI systems.
- Oversee enterprise architecture frameworks and governance protocols.
- Drive cloud migration and digital transformation efforts.
- Ensure secure integration and develop API architectures.
- Lead executive-level stakeholder engagement and technology leadership initiatives.
Core Technologies Involved
- Microsoft Azure ecosystem including Databricks, OpenAI, Data Factory, and ADLS Gen2.
- Delta Lake and Unity Catalog for data management.
- Azure AI Search, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, Service Bus for data processing and search capabilities.
- Semantic Kernel, MLflow, and MLOps/LLMOps for AI and machine learning operationalization.
Industry and Domain Expertise
- Experience in Airlines, Aviation, Travel & Hospitality, or Transportation sectors.
- Expertise in large-scale enterprise digital transformation projects.
- Familiarity with Passenger Service Systems like Amadeus Altea, Customer Experience Platforms, Revenue Management, Loyalty Programs, Cargo Operations, and Digital Commerce platforms is a considerable advantage.
Preferred Certifications
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
- SAFe Architect or SAFe Agilist certifications
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications related to Data, AI, and Cloud technologies
Additional Information
The ideal candidate will have more than 15 years of experience, with a passion for designing enterprise-scale AI ecosystems and architecting secure, scalable data platforms that deliver significant business value.
Location of work is onsite in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
