What you will be doing
- Working with the Head of Events to deliver all parts of event delivery, from invitations and client communications through to venue research, supplier liaison, logistics, budget monitoring, event technology and on-site coordination.
- Maintaining positive working relationships with internal teams, keeping event databases and CRM information accurate, handling invoicing and compliance tasks, and staying informed about current event industry practices.
- Managing attendee lists and communicating with internal and external contacts by phone, email and EventsAir, including contact with vulnerable clients where needed.
- Supporting live events with setup, pack-down and troubleshooting, which may require attendance outside standard working hours or at locations away from the office.
- Creating event marketing collateral such as invitations and promotional materials.
- Handling general administrative work, including invoice management and upkeep of event records and documentation.
What the firm is looking for
- Experience coordinating and planning events for both internal and external audiences.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities, plus the confidence to work well under pressure.
- A client and service-oriented approach, with the ability to develop effective relationships across a range of stakeholders, including vulnerable clients and outside professionals.
- A proactive, well-ordered working style with the capacity to juggle competing priorities and meet deadlines reliably.
- Good IT capability, particularly with Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Zoom.
- A collaborative attitude, curiosity, and a strong commitment to ongoing learning and development.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends based on event requirements.
Benefits and culture
- Flexible working arrangements designed to support work-life balance.
- Unlimited holiday entitlement.
- Medical insurance, life assurance, subsidised gym membership and a cycle-to-work scheme.
- Clear opportunities for progression and promotion from within.
- Ongoing training and development, including legal and leadership learning.
- A friendly workplace with social activities, clubs and a modern office in EC1, London.
