Finance Operations Manager

About the Role

Meta is searching for a seasoned Finance Operations Manager to join the APAC Revenue Operations team. This role demands a strategic partner and subject matter expert focused on Order-to-Cash (OTC) operations, revenue risk management, financial controls, and governance within the APAC region. The successful candidate will be expected to think innovatively, solve problems effectively, lead impactful projects from start to finish, and influence global processes and tool development as a regional representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance internal control frameworks across revenue operations, ensuring SOX compliance, audit preparedness, and risk management as the team grows towards governance and strategic roles.
• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate revenue-related risks across APAC markets while providing strategic advice on credit and collections policies and operational controls.
• Take ownership of a defined portfolio of APAC markets or business lines encompassing revenue operations performance, credit risk, collections status, and client risk profiles. Monitor portfolio KPIs proactively, highlight potential risks and opportunities, and utilize data-driven insights to optimize working capital outcomes.
• Act as the primary accountability point for your portfolio’s financial well-being by collaborating across billing, credit, collections, and cash application teams to ensure smooth OTC execution and issue escalation.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with sales, legal, policy, tax, and controllership teams to resolve challenges related to revenue, billing, credit, collections, and regulatory compliance.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support business expansion using new technologies including predictive dashboards, analytics, machine learning, and robotic process automation.
• Drive change management efforts to comply with evolving regulatory requirements throughout APAC, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic regulatory environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant, substantial experience in at least two areas including Order-to-Cash operations, revenue accounting, financial controls, risk management, or controllership, preferably in large multinational, fast-growing organizations.
• Deep expertise in OTC processes (credit, collections, billing, cash application) with additional experience in revenue risk, governance, internal audit, or revenue accounting.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese and well-versed in business practices and culture in Greater China, since this role focuses on Meta’s operations in China.
• Strong commercial acumen demonstrated through successful collaboration with sales, marketing, and cross-functional leadership to achieve financial objectives.
• Experience with financial systems and tools; proven track record deploying advanced digital finance technologies including analytics, artificial intelligence, and robotic process automation across geographically diverse teams.
• Excellent skills in data-driven storytelling and executive-level communication; comfortable presenting to senior leaders and multiple stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Continuous development of AI-related skills such as prompt engineering and agent orchestration, staying updated on emerging AI technologies.
• Previous involvement with SOX compliance, internal audits, or designing and improving control frameworks in high-growth settings.
• Experience applying AI to enhance or redesign operational workflows with measurable outcomes like efficiency and quality improvements.
• Proven leadership of end-to-end automation or transformation projects, including RPA implementations, AI-based credit decisions, or predictive analytic dashboards.
• Track record influencing global process design or tooling from a regional stakeholder perspective, contributing to policy formation beyond implementation.
• Management of revenue risk portfolios spanning multiple APAC jurisdictions, each with distinct regulatory and compliance frameworks.
• Experience working in large-scale technology firms or global organizations with complex and multi-entity financial operations.
• Commitment to ethical AI practices, encompassing risk assessment, bias mitigation, and quality assurance.
