Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and analytically skilled Financial Analyst to enhance our financial planning, operational finance, and accounting functions within our direct-to-consumer model. This role involves close collaboration with teams from marketing, merchandising, and operations to provide insightful financial analysis, support month-end closing activities and manage vendor payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly financial close through journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and management reporting packages.
- Analyze budget vs. actual variances and prior period results, explaining these to leadership.
- Ensure precise accounting of revenue, returns, fulfillment, and marketing expenses.
- Create business and vendor performance reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Develop executive-level presentations summarizing financial outcomes and drivers.
- Manage accounts payable processes including payment scheduling, vendor invoices, and reconciliation.
- Resolve discrepancies in vendor statements and perform ad-hoc financial analyses.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 2 years of financial analysis experience, preferably within e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods sectors.
- Knowledge of accounting standards and month-end close procedures; experience with QuickBooks is advantageous.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational abilities, strong analytical skills, and effective time management to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for all management levels.
- Familiarity with performance metrics and warehouse management systems.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position is anticipated between $58,000 and $72,000 annually, with final pay determined by qualifications and experience.
