Role Overview

We seek full stack data scientists passionate about delving deep into domain specifics, with a commercial mindset and ownership of the entire data pipeline from exploration to production deployment. You'll develop, fine-tune, and scale robust models, gain expertise in energy markets and related systems, and write clean, production-ready code that supports scalable systems beyond experimental notebooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct and optimize models that scale reliably in production environments.
• Develop a solid understanding of energy market operations, grid behavior, and trading tactics.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of projects, from initial research through to deployment.
• Deliver clean, maintainable code and contribute to robust system design.
• Translate ideas from prototypes to production-grade solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with electricity systems and power trading mechanisms.
• Comfort engaging with clients and working across multiple team functions.
• Experience working with time-series datasets.

Technical Environment

• Primary coding in Python, with React used for frontend components.
• Use of Docker for containerization to ensure reproducibility and cross-platform consistency.
• Deployment on Google Cloud Platform.
• Integration of AI tools, such as Claude Code for workflow enhancements.
