About the Role
Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to add a Housekeeping Assistant to their dedicated and friendly team. This role is vital in maintaining and elevating the cleanliness standards throughout the main hospital and its satellite sites. Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 06:00 to 14:00 (2 positions)
- Monday to Friday: 14:00 to 22:00 (2 positions)
- Saturday to Tuesday: 06:00 to 14:00 (2 positions)
- Thursday to Sunday: 06:00 to 14:00 (2 positions)
Role Responsibilities
The duties will vary slightly depending on the shift and specific hospital areas assigned. The core responsibility remains ensuring all areas within the hospital are kept clean and sanitary for both patients and staff. The position operates within a 24-hour, year-round service, requiring teamwork to handle the dynamic and sometimes high-pressure environment. New hires will receive in-house training and initial mentoring alongside experienced team members to support skill development.
